Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

FlowTek LLC (“FlowTek,” “we,” “us”) is a commercial beverage equipment maintenance and repair company based in Santa Cruz County, California. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

We are a small service business. We collect information for one reason: to respond to you and service your equipment. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

1. Information we collect

When you fill out a form on our website

Our contact form collects your first and last name, email address, phone number, business name, the service you need, how you heard about us, and your message. Our referral form collects your name, contact information, your business name, the business you are referring, and your preferred reward. Our feedback form collects your name, email, phone, star rating, and comments.

When you use our website chat assistant

Our website chat is answered by an AI assistant. We collect the messages you send it, and if you ask us to follow up, your name, contact information, business name, equipment type, problem description, city, and urgency. The chat transcript is stored with your inquiry so a technician has the context of what you already told the assistant.

When you call our business phone line

Calls to our business line may be answered by an automated AI assistant, and may be recorded. California is a two-party-consent state, so our assistant discloses this at the start of every call. If you prefer not to speak with an automated assistant or not to be recorded, you may hang up and instead email us at hello@flowtekco.com or text us — we will respond the same way.

When you call, we process the call audio to understand what you need, and we generate a short written summary of the call (your name, callback number, business, equipment issue, city, and urgency) which is sent to the business owner so we can call you back.

Automatically

Our website host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

3. Service providers we share information with

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate our business. They process information only to provide services to us, under their own privacy policies:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FlowTek, our customers, or the public.

4. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your service request or scheduled work. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is sold or shared with anyone for their own promotional use.

5. How long we keep information

We keep service records, including call summaries and inquiries, for as long as needed to service your account and to meet our legal, tax, and insurance obligations — generally up to seven years. You may ask us to delete information sooner where we are not required to keep it.

6. Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time at hello@flowtekco.com to:

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We will not charge you a different price or provide a different level of service for exercising your rights.

7. Security

We limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their job, and we use reputable providers who encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the size and nature of our business.

8. Children

Our services are for commercial businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
